In 2015, we opened our first Albert Heijn store in Belgium, and due to its success, we have expanded further to serve as many regions as possible. Our rich history began right after World War II when Jos Peeters and Maria Govers, both from farming families, ventured into greenhouse vegetable cultivation. Jos would sell these vegetables to local families and markets using a cargo bike.
