Alivio Medical Center is a community-based health center that has been serving the underserved and vulnerable communities of Chicago since January 4, 1989. Located in the neighborhoods of Pilsen, Little Village, and Back of the Yards, Alivio is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and responsive healthcare to immigrants and Mexican Americans. Their comprehensive programs prioritize health promotion, education, and prevention to address the barriers that historically limited access to healthcare in these communities.


Alivio's bilingual and bicultural providers offer a wide range of services, including adult and family medicine, behavioral and mental health, dentistry, diabetes care, family planning, OB/GYN and midwifery, pediatrics, and a pharmacy. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Alivio Medical Center ensures that all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, receive the necessary care. They are a grantee under 42 U.
