L'Alternative Urbaine is a social and professional integration association based in Paris. They aim to employ and support individuals facing precarious situations through innovative forms of inclusion that combine culture and tourism. While their mission is not to train individuals as guides, they utilize urban walks as pedagogical tools to reintegrate those who are distant from employment.

L'Alternative Urbaine organizes original and friendly walks in Paris, led by individuals in the integration process called Urban Guides, allowing a wide range of people to (re)discover authentic neighborhoods. Additionally, they offer services for companies and provide opportunities for engagement and support from volunteers. Since their establishment in September 2014, they have met over 4000 supportive walkers, accompanied 30 Urban Guides, and received assistance from more than 50 dedicated volunteers.
