Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder. Located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we serve ten parishes in the capital area, including Ascension, Assumption, East and West Baton Rouge, East and West Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, and St. Helena.

Our mission is to teach, care for, and connect with those in our community impacted by Alzheimer's and other memory-related impairments. We offer a wide range of programs and services to meet the diverse needs of our community. Some of our offerings include Alzheimer's disease and dementia resources, caregiver support groups, educational sessions, Charlie's Place - an award-winning activity and respite center, emergency preparedness resources, and caregiver tips.

We also provide services such as respite reimbursement, memory boot camp, and assistance through our HelpLine. As a local organization, all funds donated to Alzheimer's Services stay within our ten-parish area, ensuring that the support reaches the families in our community who need it most.
