Animal Welfare Fund (AWF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation that operates as a local federation in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Our mission is to support charities in their efforts to rescue and protect animals in local communities. By joining the AWF, members gain access to a range of services provided at a low and predictable cost.

We hold our member organizations to high standards of governance and programmatic impact, ensuring that each charity meets the criteria required by the campaigns we enter. As an active organization across the country, we raise and distribute hundreds of thousands of dollars to support our member organizations. We are proud to be a member of the Workplace Giving Alliance (WGA), which consists of federations in the CFC.

This partnership allows us to represent hundreds of charitable organizations from various sectors of the nonprofit world. We believe that payroll deduction, a common feature of workplace giving, provides a means for individuals with modest resources to become philanthropists.
