Arctic Slope Native Association (ASNA) is a tribal nonprofit organization that focuses on providing health and social services to the people of the Arctic Slope. Their mission is to promote the health and well-being of the community, while their vision is to ensure that the people of the Arctic Slope are healthy and content. ASNA offers a range of services to fulfill their mission, including medical care provided by Samuel Simmonds Memorial Hospital (SSMH), social services, Aimaaġvik Assisted Living, and assistance with medical travel and funeral arrangements.

They also strive to keep the community informed through recent news, newsletters, and annual reports. Guided by the values of the Iñupiat people of the Arctic Slope, ASNA places emphasis on respect for elders, others, and nature, family kinship and roles, knowledge of the language, cooperation, love and respect for one another, humor, hunting traditions, compassion, humility, and spirituality. ASNA is dedicated to responding to the needs and priorities of the tribal councils in the region, promoting the self-respect and well-being of Native members, and serving as an advocate for Arctic Slope Natives and their councils and organizations.
