Aloha United Way is a reputable brand that has been serving the Oʻahu community for over 100 years. Established in 1919 by local philanthropist Frank C. Atherton, in collaboration with the Honolulu Chamber of Commerce, Aloha United Way aimed to revolutionize charitable giving by creating a more efficient system for raising and distributing funds.

They were the first in Hawaiʻi to bring multiple charities together to collectively raise money for their organizations. Since then, Aloha United Way has grown and now partners with over 300 nonprofit organizations.
