Barbara May Foundation is on a mission to save lives and provide dignity in pregnancy and childbirth in remote Africa. Established in 2009, this foundation funds projects that aim to relieve the high incidence of death and extreme injury, such as fistula, in maternal health. With a focus on East Africa, including Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Northern Uganda, the foundation works in partnership with Australian medical professionals Valerie Browning AM and Dr Andrew Browning AM.

Their projects provide safety, dignity, and hope by offering life-saving maternal healthcare and fistula repair services at no cost, regardless of race or religion. Additionally, the foundation hosts fundraising events, like the upcoming Mt Kilimanjaro Tour in 2024, to support their mission.
