BEGEP is a brand that seeks to promote an innovative, sustainable, and inclusive education system in Turkey. This technical assistance project, funded by the Republic of Turkey and the European Union, aims to support the development of teachers, school managers, and other stakeholders involved in mainstreaming inclusive practices. The project is led by the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services.

The main intervention areas of BEGEP include institutional capacity building, awareness raising, scientific and technical studies, and coordination and cooperation. These areas are designed to enhance special education and guidance services throughout the country, ensuring that educational institutions are accessible to all students, regardless of language, religion, race, gender, or disability. With a focus on inclusive education, BEGEP conducts impact analyses and implements campaigns and activities to raise awareness among various target groups.

The project also encourages coordination and cooperation with relevant NGOs in the field of special education and inclusion. Through their efforts, BEGEP aims to foster equal opportunities in education and ensure the integration of all students into society
