Bel Inizio, based in Houston, Texas, is a nonprofit brand that is focused on helping disadvantaged women develop self-confidence and life skills through fitness and nutrition. The brand's name, which means beautiful beginning in Italian, reflects its mission to empower women to start anew. Bel Inizio works with a variety of partner agencies, such as Santa Maria Hostel, Dress for Success, and Star of Hope, to support individuals who have faced challenges like sexual abuse, substance abuse, and homelessness.

Through their training programs, participants not only prepare themselves for a 5K race but also gain a deeper understanding of commitment, fitness, and nutrition. Bel Inizio recognizes the importance of fostering continuity of support and lifelong community for women, which led to the creation of the Beyond the Finish Line program.
