The Ben & Jerry's Foundation is a Social Justice Organization that supports grassroots groups across the U. S. Led by individuals directly impacted by the legacies of white supremacy culture, the foundation works towards racial equity, social justice, and environmental justice.

Its focus is on supporting and centering the leadership and collective action of Black communities, Indigenous communities, and communities of color in their efforts to dismantle oppressive and discriminatory systems. In addition to its national initiatives, the foundation is committed to enhancing the well-being of Vermont and Vermonters through various grant programs. These programs address basic human needs, such as food, housing, health, elder and childcare, within underserved populations, including elders, youth, low-income individuals, and communities of color.

The foundation also funds innovative programs that work to address poverty in Vermont by reducing its economic, social, and environmental impacts. The Ben & Jerry's Foundation is guided by committees comprising Ben & Jerry's employees who review grant applications, ensuring that the philanthropic efforts are aligned with the company's values.
