Description

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is the regional corporation for the Bering Strait region, founded in 1972 as a result of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Headquartered in Nome, Alaska, BSNC owns and manages nearly two million acres of subsurface land selected by 17 village corporations. This culturally diverse region is home to three distinct Native languages: Siberian Yupik, Central Yup’ik, and Iñupiaq.

BSNC offers a wide range of products and services to support economic development and preserve the region's heritage. Their operations include real estate management, development, tourism, construction, mining services, and sales of rock and aggregate. Additionally, BSNC's office in Anchorage oversees government contract work under SBA 8(a), HUBZone, and small business programs, providing construction and support services as well as shareholder services.

With a mission to improve the quality of life for its people while protecting the land and preserving the culture, BSNC empowers its shareholders to lead and protect the Arctic region. Stay connected with BSNC for news, updates, stories, and opportunities to be a part of this journey
