Berkeley Angel Network is a group of angel investors composed of UC Berkeley alumni, faculty, and former faculty. As a part of the Berkeley Haas Alumni Network, their mission is to establish a strong angel investor community and enhance the collective skills and knowledge of the members through activities related to angel investing. The network actively promotes entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education within the UC Berkeley community and its alumni.

They are particularly interested in companies that have a connection to UC Berkeley, including those formed by students or alumni, or those based on technology from the university. However, they also consider companies without such a direct connection. They host regular meetings where entrepreneurs can present their business ideas and seek funding.

The network looks for indicators of success in teams, potential markets, technology, and business models when considering investment opportunities. Entrepreneurs who fulfill the membership and participation criteria can apply for funding by submitting their applications before the deadline.
