Welcome to Best Friend Express, North Augusta and Aiken's premier public transportation system. Whether you need to get to the Court House, Aiken Mall, Kalmia Plaza, the Hospital, Aiken Tech, USC Aiken, or anywhere in North Augusta, the Best Friend Express is here to help. Our buses circulate throughout Aiken and North Augusta every 2 hours, and we even offer transfers to the Augusta Transit System.

With the Best Friend Express, catching a ride is easy. Just flag us down when you see our bus, and we'll pick you up and get you on your way. All of our buses are accessible, with wheelchair lifts for those with disabilities, as well as bicycle racks.

Our rates range from $1. 00 for seniors and persons with disabilities, to $1. 50 for students, and $2.

00 for adults. We are proud to offer half fare to people over 60, those with a Medicare Card, and those with disabilities, with proper verification. And we are always working to improve our service.

In fact, the Lower Savannah Council of Governments is currently developing a Transit Development Plan focused on public transit service over the next ten years. We invite the community to provide input through our online survey, and we are hosting public workshops in Aiken County to discuss the plan further.
