Encased in the foundation of this memorial are significant artifacts, including copies of the Declaration of Independence, United States Constitution, Gettysburg Address, and a piece of the aircraft from Flight 77, accompanied by the Captain's insignia wings.

Positioned above is a historic steel artifact from the World Trade Center, serving as a symbol of strength and resilience. The garden incorporates various vignettes to represent the crash sites - the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville.
