Boston Cares is a leading volunteer agency in New England, dedicated to making community service accessible and impactful for individuals with busy lives. Established in 1991 by a group of passionate young adults, their mission was to connect volunteers with non-profits in need, creating a calendar of service opportunities for their friends. Today, Boston Cares engages over 10,000 adults, children, teens, and corporate partners, who collectively contribute more than 65,000 hours of service annually.

The organization focuses on key areas such as hunger relief, adult education, ESOL tutoring, and youth success. Notably, their Bed Project has built over 1,500 beds for children without their own. Boston Cares is proud to be affiliated with the Points of Light Global Network, and their volunteers have generated an astonishing 1.
