Founded by Monique and Sascha, who came to the United States in 2014, Breadlovers was born out of their struggle to find good organic sourdough bread like they were used to in their home country, Germany. After Monique started baking fresh homemade bread daily for her family, she sought to simplify the process and began preparing baking kits for herself.

Realizing the potential, Monique had the idea of selling her own bread baking kits in the US. In 2017, Monique and her family embarked on a journey across the United States, visiting various mills to find the perfect ingredients for their bread baking kits. Today, Breadlovers offers a range of 6 bread baking kits, each named after the place they were first baked or inspired by.
