Bridges School is a small, progressive school that aims to empower children to become independent and resourceful learners. With a mission to care for themselves, their community, and the environment, Bridges fosters curiosity and creates a strong sense of community. The school's dedicated staff offers a nurturing environment where children engage in creative and exciting activities tailored to their interests.

Founded in 1986, Bridges started in a private home before moving to the Old Greenwich-Riverside Community Center. In 2008, the school purchased a historic building, which was renovated to accommodate 74 students. The unique spaces within the building, such as an art studio filled with color and light, support the Reggio Emilia approach.

At Bridges, teachers are lifelong learners and work in teams to create innovative programs based on the children's ideas. They regularly attend training workshops and conferences, including visits to the Reggio Emilia school in Italy. The school offers a two-year program and a three/four-year program, taught by a dedicated and experienced faculty.
