The Brother Benno Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the dignity of those in need in North County San Diego. They serve homeless neighbors, the working poor, and seniors by providing essential meals, addressing basic needs, fostering community outreach, and supporting addiction recovery. Founded in 1983 as a Soup Kitchen, Brother Benno's was named after Brother Benno Garrity, a Benedictine monk known for his service to the poor.

Today, they offer a range of services, including men's recovery programs, women's sober living, meals, food boxes, clothing, showers, mail services, support services, and scholarships. The foundation relies on generous donations to make a significant impact on the lives of those in their community. Visitors can take a tour of the Brother Benno Center, which is open six days a week and offers various services.
