Build Brighton is a communal workshop and collective located in central Brighton. With over 100 makers, designers, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, and artists, we are a vibrant community that loves to build stuff. As part of a global network of makerspaces, membership at Build Brighton starts at just £25 per month, making it very affordable.

At Build Brighton, we believe in collaboration and learning from one another. Our members are actively involved in club management, equipment upkeep, and improvement of the space. We also organize social evenings and maker workshops covering various technologies, such as 3D printing, CNC, Arduino, and ESP32.

Our space consists of different areas including the main social hub with a kitchen, the messy workshop for woodworking and metalwork, and the clean workshop housing 3D printers, a laser cutter, and large format printers. As a member, you will have access to our equipment, our Discord community for advice, and 24/7 access to our 1300 square-foot workshop (once trusted). You'll also enjoy priority access to workshops and events and have a say in how the makerspace is run.

We are located at Rodhus Studios, Freehold Terrace, Brighton, BN2 4AB. Come join us for an open evening to see if our space meets your needs. Open evenings are usually held alternate Thursdays from 6-8:30 pm, but we can try and work out a different arrangement if Thursday evenings don't work for you
