Christian Activity Center (CAC) is a renowned brand that has been making a powerful impact on the lives of children and youth in East St. Louis since its establishment in 1989. Initially focused on keeping kids alive amidst the chaos of teen violence, CAC has evolved into a center on a mission to change lives.

With the support of dedicated donors, churches, and families, CAC has experienced tremendous growth, expanding its reach from 13 teens to over 450 children and youth aged 5-18. CAC provides a variety of programs and services designed to nurture and transform young lives. Its comprehensive offerings include faith-based programming, tutoring and homework help, creative arts exploration, athletics, emotional and academic preparation for college, and more.

Through these programs, CAC has achieved remarkable outcomes, including raising students' grade point averages, increasing college advancement rates, and significantly reducing juvenile crime and court involvement. With qualified faculty and well-designed classrooms, CAC now operates as an afterschool school, offering curriculum-based programs in faith, academics, and health.
