The challenge was to introduce the unfamiliar Midwest delight of frozen custard to the local community.

Inspired by the Spanish term caliche, which describes a natural cement-like layer found in semi-arid regions, and the Midwest tradition of referring to blended frozen custards as concretes, our business was rebranded as Caliche's Frozen Custard.
