Canine Therapy Corps is a brand dedicated to improving lives through animal-assisted therapy programs. With approximately 50 active volunteer teams, they provide 1,400 hours of therapy each year to over 5,000 individuals across the Chicago metropolitan area, all at no charge to the clients or facilities. Their programs cover a wide range of populations, including chemically dependent individuals in rehabilitation, veterans being treated for mental illnesses, adolescents and teens with emotional and behavioral problems, and children living in residential treatment programs.

Each program follows an award-winning curriculum that focuses on improving communication skills, anger management, self-esteem, and self-awareness. Participants work with therapy dogs on progressively advanced obedience and agility exercises, culminating in a graduation where they demonstrate their proficiency in dog handling. Canine Therapy Corps also offers physical therapy programs in partnership with various medical facilities.
