The Center for Animal Protection & Education (CAPE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to animal protection and education. Our primary goal is to save the lives of individual animals and educate people on ways to alleviate animal suffering. We offer a variety of programs and services to achieve this mission.

At CAPE, we provide advocacy for animals in need, including burros, dogs, horses, pigs, goats, and more. Through our education center, we raise awareness and educate the public about animal welfare issues. Additionally, we offer support to animals affected by wildfires through our Wildfire Animal Assistance Fund (WAAF).

We also have various initiatives such as Muttopia Doggie Door, Assisted Living, Ruff & Ready Burro Rescue, and Equine Medical Barn to provide specialized care for animals with special needs. For those interested in adoption, we have a range of dogs, burros, donkeys, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, turkeys, and chickens available.
