Capitol Land Trust is a professional land trust that has been dedicated to conserving the natural areas and working lands in our region since 1987. We have evolved from a volunteer organization to an accredited land trust, recognized by the Land Trust Alliance for meeting national standards of excellence. Our mission is to develop partnerships and collaborate with various stakeholders to protect and preserve the land.

We offer various programs and opportunities for individuals to get involved, such as salmon docent programs, K-12 outdoor programs, stewardship work parties, and trail stewardship. Additionally, we provide multiple ways to support our conservation efforts through donations, bequests, stocks, and other gifts.
