She extensively traveled across the United States, Russia, and Kazakhstan, collaborating with NASA's international partners to document the remarkable journeys to and from the International Space Station. She also had the privilege of photographing the return to Earth from the open door of a Russian military helicopter, making her the only American woman to do so.
