With a mission to achieve sustainable independence, Carpenter's Shelter provides shelter and comprehensive services to children, women, and men in need. They believe that housing is the key to stability and work towards transitioning those they serve into permanent, sustainable homes.

Since their establishment in 1988, Carpenter's Shelter has been committed to assisting the most under-resourced residents of their community. Through their residential shelter, winter shelter, case management, education and employment programs, rapid re-housing, and family services, they have served over 624 homeless and formerly homeless children and adults in the past year alone. Carpenter's Shelter strives for racial equity in housing by not only providing shelter and stability but also by advocating for more affordable housing in the community.

They have a remarkable 93% permanent housing success rate for shelter residents who transition to their community-based Rapid Re-Housing program.
