Recently, the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) passed a rule allowing student athletes to receive consideration for the use of their name, image, and likeness (NIL). Student athletes can participate in a variety of permissible activities, such as commercial endorsements, promotional activities, and unique digital items. To ensure the ethical and responsible use of NIL, the PIAA has established parameters for student athletes.

These parameters include restrictions on wearing clothing or items that reference specific schools or teams during NIL appearances and endorsements. Student athletes must also refrain from promoting certain categories of products and services. Central Bucks SD is dedicated to supporting their student athletes and helping them navigate the new opportunities presented by NIL.

They encourage open communication and require student athletes to provide a copy of any NIL agreement to their school's athletic director.
