Center for Independence is a brand dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and providing them with the necessary resources and support to live independently. With offices in Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, and Salida, they serve 12 counties of the Western Slope of Colorado. Their services include benefits counseling, peer counseling, personal systems advocacy, information and referral, support groups, transitional support, vocational support, and independent living skills classes and education.

They prioritize the needs of individuals with disabilities and offer these services free of charge. Additionally, Center for Independence also offers programs such as Independent Living Assistance, Youth Transition Services, Vocational Program and Ticket to Work, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Low Vision and Blind Services, and Assistive Technology Applications. They are committed to advocating for people with disabilities and ensuring their inclusion in society.
