Channel 101 is a dynamic and inclusive community-driven non-profit film festival based in Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a platform for creative filmmakers to explore their unique styles, stories, and techniques. With only two simple rules – each pilot or subsequent episode must be five minutes or less – we encourage filmmakers to embrace brevity and experimentation.

Every submission is meticulously watched by a panel comprising the showrunners of current primetime programs, who then discuss and vote on their top five favorites. These winning pilots are showcased alongside new episodes of the primetime shows in our highly anticipated live screening at the end of each month. We welcome submissions from filmmakers worldwide, as we firmly believe in promoting diverse voices and perspectives.

Our monthly screenings are also live-streamed, ensuring that our entire community can partake in the excitement and voting process.
