The Chicago Architecture Biennial (CAB) is a non-profit organization at the forefront of convening individuals from around the world to collectively imagine and shape the future of design. With a dedication to exploring innovative ideas, CAB offers a range of programs that address global issues through the lens of architecture and design. CAB's emphasis on community input, sustainability, and equity ensures a diverse and inclusive exploration of these timely themes.
As North America's largest international survey of contemporary architecture and design, CAB's signature program takes place biennially at the Chicago Cultural Center and various locations across the city. Since its founding, CAB has hosted four successful editions, each presenting projects from over 400 architects, designers, and artists from more than 40 countries. Engaging global audiences through a year-round programming, CAB initiates critical conversations and sparks curiosity beyond the field of architecture.
