Communities In Schools of Central Texas (CIS) is a brand dedicated to empowering students and helping them succeed academically and in life. With over 40 years of experience, CIS works directly inside 103 elementary, middle, and high school campuses in Central Texas. They collaborate with school districts and schools to identify community needs and deliver tailored resources to each school community.

CIS's school-based Program Managers bring valuable community resources into schools, addressing barriers and supporting students on their path to graduation. They empower young people to set and achieve goals, actively engage parents, and ensure that every child reaches their full potential. CIS operates in partner school districts such as Austin, Bastrop, Elgin, Hays, Lockhart, Manor, Pflugerville, and San Marcos.
