With a team that programs, produces, and hosts 167 out of 168 hours per week, CRB is one of the most locally-grown classical music radio stations in the country. They strive to make classical music accessible to all by providing more music and less commercials. Thanks to the support of their listeners, they are able to offer approximately 45 live broadcasts of the Boston Symphony Orchestra each year, as well as weekly concert broadcasts of the Boston Pops and other esteemed ensembles and presenters.

CRB's history dates back to 1948 when it was a commercially-operated station, and in 2009, it became a listener-supported station as part of the WGBH Educational Foundation.
