Clinicas del Camino Real has a rich and impactful history in Ventura County. It all started in 1971 when social activists Mary Hummel, Mamie Barger, and Reverend Eleazar H. Echeverria opened the Santa Paula Free Clinic in a shared karate studio.

From its humble beginnings, Clinicas has grown to become a trusted source of quality and affordable healthcare for the community. They offer a wide range of services, including dental care, mental health support, obstetrics/gynecology, medical consultations, pharmacy services, and vision care.

They also provide urgent care and have mobile outreach units to reach those who may struggle with access to healthcare. Clinicas understands the financial challenges that many face, which is why they offer a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. They also accept insurance plans like Medi-Cal, Medi-Care, and most private insurances.
