Welcome to CLIP Lab, the Computational Logic, Languages, Implementation, and Parallelism Laboratory. At CLIP Lab, we strive to develop techniques and tools that assist in the creation of complex programs, reducing development time while ensuring correctness and efficiency. Our areas of expertise include the design and implementation of programming languages such as compilers and virtual machines, as well as AI-powered compilation.

We also specialize in advanced programming tools that automate verification, debugging, and optimization for multiple languages, such as Ciao, Java, and C. With over 300 publications, participation in over 40 projects, and numerous prizes and awards, our contributions in these areas are well-recognized. Much of our work is integrated into the Ciao System, a next-generation, multi-paradigm programming language and environment that offers industrial performance, automatic parallelization, and portability.
