Description
CodePath is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit brand that aims to eliminate inequities in tech education by bringing together employers, students, and colleges. Their mission is to reprogram higher education and create a diverse generation of engineers, CTOs, and founders. They offer industry-vetted courses and career support tailored to the needs of underrepresented students, such as Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, and low-income individuals.
CodePath provides comprehensive programming to meet the demands of both students and employers in the tech industry. Through intensive technical training, mentorships, career services, and employer connections, students gain access, exposure, and community to successfully navigate the tech industry and jumpstart their careers. CodePath's college partners supplement their curriculum with industry skills, knowledge, and networks to help students excel in the tech industry.
Meanwhile, CodePath's employer partners gain access to diverse and talented engineers. With nearly 20,000 students and alumni from 500 colleges now working at 2,000 companies, CodePath has reshaped the tech workforce and industries of the future. They have also achieved significant outcomes, with their students employed across over 100 Fortune 500 companies.
Through their courses, internships, and job opportunities, CodePath has created a systemic impact, with better job outcomes for their alumni compared to national averages. CodePath's success is made possible by the support of their funders and sponsors. They collaborate and partner with various organizations to extend their robust programs to underrepresented students.
Their team is diverse and united under the vision of providing access and opportunity to all people, regardless of their background, socioeconomic status, race, or gender, in the tech industry
