About

Description

Corridor appalachien is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to protecting the natural environments of the Appalachian region in Southern Quebec. They strive to restore a sustainable ecological framework that respects the region's unique biodiversity and benefits local communities. Their territorial focus extends from the Canadian-American border to Mount Orford, encompassing the critical ecological link of the Appalachian Mountains.

Through various conservation options, they encourage individuals and landowners to donate their natural habitats for the benefit of future generations. Corridor appalachien is actively involved in safeguarding significant ecological areas. They recently announced the permanent protection of 14.

04 hectares of ecologically valuable forest in the Mount Gale area of Bromont, in partnership with the citizen group Protection Mont-Gale. Additionally, they have facilitated the installation of an electric line on Mount Foster, with minimal environmental impact. By supporting Corridor appalachien, you can help protect the future of our natural heritage.
