Every Texan is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization based in Austin, Texas. We are dedicated to advocating for policies that promote the well-being and prosperity of every Texan. Our work spans a variety of policy areas, including healthcare, food security, education, worker power, thriving families, budget, taxes, equity, and inequality.

In terms of healthcare, we focus on issues such as health insurance coverage, affordability, and access. We also work on food security by addressing food assistance programs like SNAP, school meals, and community eligibility. Education is another critical area of our work, where we advocate for early childhood education, K-12 public education, and college affordability.

We also prioritize worker power and thriving families, fighting for living wages, paid family leave, and supporting kids living with relatives. Furthermore, we are actively involved in budget and tax issues at the state and federal levels, striving for fairness and transparency.
