Creative Alternatives is a nonprofit organization based in the Central Valley of California. Serving youth since 1976, our mission is to deliver comprehensive therapeutic services in a nurturing environment to youth and young adults. We offer a range of programs to meet the unique needs of each child, including the operation of Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) homes, placement of children in private foster homes, and running non-public schools.

Our goal is to provide an alternative to the institutionalization of children, offering individualized care and support. We are proud to be accredited by CARF and affiliated with organizations like the California Department of Education (CDE) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). With a focus on quality youth services, Creative Alternatives is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of California's foster youth.
