Welcome to the Campbell River Museum, an award-winning museum in Campbell River, BC that is not to be missed. With our coastal history as the focus, our mission is to preserve, interpret, and share the collective human history of Northern Vancouver Island. Explore our exhibits, both temporary and permanent, to see, hear, and even touch the rich history of this region.

From logging photos to basketry collections, our museum offers a peek into the past that will inform the future. In addition to our exhibits, we offer a variety of events and activities for both kids and adults. Take part in boat tours to explore the Discovery Islands, or join in on special events like the Haig-Brown Festival.

We are open year-round, with different operating hours depending on the season. During the summer (May 18 - Sept 30), we are open daily from 10am to 5pm. In the winter (Oct 1 - May 17), our hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.
