Cordova Rec & Park District is an independent special district established in 1958, with a mission to provide quality recreational programs, parks, and services for the diverse and growing region within Sacramento County. With over 43 parks and facilities spanning more than 600 acres of urban and open space, they offer a wide range of activities for individuals of all ages. Cordova Rec & Park District operates the popular Cordova Golf Course, a full-service 18-hole course complete with a lighted driving range, pro-shop, and PGA professional lessons.

They also host numerous events throughout the year and pride themselves on offering athletic, educational, and creative outlets for the community. Through property assessments, fees, and grants, they ensure proper funding and strive to reinvest in their community for the benefit of future generations. They have opened new parks, completed capital improvement projects, and received numerous awards for their commitment to improving the community.
