About
Description
CRPN, the Caisse de Retraite complémentaire du Personnel Navigant Professionnel de l'Aéronautique Civile, is a regulated supplementary retirement fund for professionals in the civil aviation industry. Established in 1928, in response to the needs of civilian aviators, CRPN was created to provide assistance to accident victims and their dependents, such as widows, children, and parents. The fund was initially managed by the Caisse des Dépôts.
In 1951, the Complementary Retirement Scheme for Professional Navigating Personnel in Civil Aviation was established through a law and subsequent decrees. Over the years, the regulations governing CRPN have been significantly modified through various decrees. CRPN operates under the provisions of the Transport Code, the Civil Aviation Code, and the regulations governing social security schemes for salaried workers and their families moving within the European Union.
As a non-profit entity fulfilling a mission of public interest, CRPN is governed by the Code of Transports and the Code of Civil Aviation, as well as its own statutes. Discover more about CRPN and its activities, organizational structure, key figures, and real estate holdings on their website
