DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage is a local NGO located in the South African bush near Kruger National Park. With a mission to educate and inspire children to value their environment and stimulate community development, DAKTARI provides a unique learning experience for local children. During their five-day visit, the children participate in the Environmental Education Program, where they learn about their natural heritage and care for animals that cannot be released back into the wild.

This program instills a sense of care, respect, and empathy towards animals and wildlife in their communities. DAKTARI also welcomes international volunteers who teach lessons and guide the children, fostering positive change. Additionally, the organization runs an Outreach Program, conducting weekly ECO Club activities and Wildlife Crime Campaigns to actively engage with local communities.
