Dallas Producers is a professional organization that provides promotion, advocacy, education, and networking for individuals and companies involved in visual media production in North Texas. Founded in 1978 by six Dallas-based producers, Dallas Producers aims to share best practices, knowledge, and advocate for production in Texas. In 1991, it was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization, expanding its reach and support for producers in the DFW area.

In 2019, the by-laws were amended to be more inclusive, welcoming all production-oriented roles seeking membership. The organization continues its mission, vision, and values with ongoing events, networking opportunities, mixers, seminars, and parties to support production professionals throughout the DFW area. Dallas Producers promotes its members throughout the industry and nationally, advocates for their interests in legal, business, and political forums, provides professional development opportunities, and aims to build a network of resources and connections to foster friendly competition and grow the local industry as a whole.
