Durham County Carers Support | Spennymoor is a trusted and comprehensive Carer support service serving County Durham and Darlington. Established in July 2012 through the merger of five local Carer Support charities, our organization has grown to become the primary source of assistance for over 24,000 Carers in the area. As a voluntary organization, we provide a range of high-quality services and support to unpaid Carers aged 18 and above who care for someone residing in County Durham & Darlington.

Our services include one-to-one tailored support, assistance with completing forms, access to grants and funding, help in taking a break from caregiving responsibilities, and referrals to relevant organizations for additional support. We also offer various training programs, counseling sessions, and special discounts through our Carers Discount Card. Our mission is to improve Carers' lives, while our vision is to create a community where Carers are recognized, valued, and supported.
