Family & Youth Initiative is a caring community dedicated to supporting older children in foster care. We understand that older children are the least likely to be adopted and the most likely to age out of the system without the support they need. Our mission is to create a strong and lasting community for teens and young adults in foster care by helping them find family and create extended family connections.

Research shows that having just one caring and committed adult in their lives can make a tremendous difference for these young individuals, setting them on a path towards success. We match youth with host parents and mentors, and also help them find adoptive families. Through our program events, adults and teens get to know each other in a fun and supportive environment.

We believe that by building these relationships, we can provide the support and guidance that these teenagers need as they transition into adulthood. Join us in making a difference in the lives of these amazing young individuals
