Their goal is to reduce social and societal isolation among older individuals by providing a welcoming space where like-minded people can connect and participate in different activities. Some of the activities they offer include card games like bridge and klaverjassen, reading, painting and drawing, handicrafts, draughts, billiards, and various courses such as digital photography and computer lessons in small groups of up to 4 students.

They also provide gymnastics classes tailored for both mobile and less mobile seniors. Additionally, visitors are welcome to simply drop by, read a newspaper, and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or any other beverage of their choice. The Brassershoeve has ample parking space for disabled vehicles and scooters.
