During the pandemic, Deidre went above and beyond to help over 120 business owners access crucial funding and resources. Her commitment to small business owners and their success is unwavering. In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Deidre has also shown her dedication to the youth and education in Iowa.

She co-founded the nonprofit organization Back to School Iowa, which has provided essential school supplies to thousands of students in Des Moines. As the next Governor, Deidre aims to improve the education system, working alongside parents, teachers, and local governments to ensure the best opportunities for Iowa's children. Deidre's vision for Iowa includes a focus on supporting small towns and rural communities, as well as improving access to affordable healthcare and mental healthcare for all residents.

She is determined to bridge gaps in wages, skills, and job availability, making sure that working families are supported and jobs remain in the state.
