Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Derrick obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work and is currently working towards a PhD in Human Behaviors.

He uses his expertise to counsel at-risk adolescents at a non-profit group home for boys, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Derrick also co-hosts and hosts inspiring podcasts, sharing his soulful thoughts and insights based on love. As an author, Derrick has written and self-published three books, each offering a unique perspective on personal transformation and understanding oneself.
