Diedrich Jewelers, a reputable and longstanding brand, has been serving customers with exceptional service and a wide selection of exquisite jewelry since 1923. Founded by Harry Diedrich in downtown Ripon, the store quickly became known for its commitment to customer satisfaction and its extensive range of jewelry, including fine pieces, watches, giftware, and clocks. When Harry passed away in 1977, Bob and Joan Mathia took over the business, preserving the Diedrich Jewelers name and continuing to uphold the brand's values.

In 1980, the Ripon store relocated to a larger building, where it remains today at 212 Watson Street. Diedrich-Mathia Jewelers, the Berlin store, has its own rich history, with its origins dating back to the late 19th century. Bob and Joan Mathia acquired the Berlin store in 1978 and decided to honor the Mathia family by renaming it Diedrich-Mathia Jewelers.

The Mathia family's dedication to the business is evident, as their daughter Ann Belau has been working in the family business since 1980. In 2018, Shelly and Derek, Bob and Joan's daughter and son-in-law, took over the stores, ensuring the brand's legacy and commitment to providing exceptional jewelry and customer service continue to thrive
